Fitness Friday - Police Your Portions

To be healthy and fit you may need to police you portions. 

No I don't mean him.

Does your steak take up more than half your plate? Think about cutting your serving of beef in half. That's because it's best to try and fill half your plate with veggies or a mixture of veggies and fresh fruit so it's harder to overdo it on the more caloric dishes (like cheesy potatoes or barbecue sauce–slathered ribs—yum!). 
Create a romantic evening and share a meal with your honey. Eat off the same plate and feed each other.

Tastey Tuesday - Jello Shots

JellO-Shots.......
 *Cut an Orange (or lemon or lime) in HALF and gut it.
 
*Mix the ...jello shot (1 cup hot water, box jello, 1 cup various liquors), stir till disolved, then add the jello mix to the half shell and refrig for 3 hours or more.
 
*Once solid, slice and serve!

Tempting Tuesday - Creamy Hot Chocolate

It's cold outside so make some hot chocolate and curl up under a cozy blanket with your honey.
Ingredients1 (14 ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
6 1/2 cups hot water
Mini marshmallows (optional)

Directions1.In large saucepan over medium heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, cocoa, vanilla and salt; mix well. Slowly stir in water. Heat through, stirring occasionally. Do not boil. Top with marshmallows, (optional). Store covered in refrigerator.

MICROWAVE In 2-quart glass measure, combine all ingredients except marshmallows. Microwave on 100% power (HIGH) 8 to 10 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes. Top with marshmallows if desired. Store covered in refrigerator. Tip: Creamy Hot Chocolate can be stored in refrigerator up to 5 days. Mix well and reheat before serving.
