Slipping his fingers into her hair, he lowered his head. Instinct kicked in and her arms went around his waist. His sinewy muscles flexed under the silken shirt while his breath fluttered over her mouth. He traced the line of her chin with his lips, burying his face in her hair. He tasted her neck and she yielded to him. Heat traveled through her to settle between her thighs.

“Your skin is the blush of the palest flower.” He inhaled. “Hmm…I smell honeysuckle. You have the most beautiful hair I’ve ever seen. It is so vibrant with fierce, turbulent colors.
