Cure for the Greys

Everybody gets grey sometimes, and we all need a little indulgence.

Here in Michigan, Mother Nature plays with the thermostat constantly. One day, it's lovely and we spend time outdoors. The next day my fingers are too cold to type. Today we are in another meltdown and everything is grey. Blahhhhh...
A grey view from my office window.

Here is my thought on a little cure for the day.

Buy a bouquet of fresh flowers.

They are easy to find at any grocery store these days. Split them up so you can have at least one flower in each room of the house. You can use any kind of container; a small vase, a cute little glass, a teacup, or my favorite - an old salt shaker.

Lift someone's spirit and give flowers to a friend or coworker.
Fresh flowers can also add a touch of romance to any room.

Enjoy the simplicity of fresh flowers! A little bit of life and color can brighten any home on a grey day as well as lift our spirits.
I picked up a pretty flowering plant for the office.

#TeaTime - A Little Cup of #Happiness

Had a McD's burger on the run yesterday and today my body is pissed. I've been eating too much good food lately and now my body is rebelling against the McDecision so I grabbed my favorite Detox tea in an attempt to bring happiness and balance to my gut..

Ahhhh.... tea makes me happy.

What makes you happy when you're feeling yucky?

Happiness is that feeling that comes over you when you know life is good and you can't help but smile. It's the opposite of sadness. Happiness is a sense of well-being, joy, or contentment. When people are successful, or safe, or lucky, they feel happiness.

Tea Time - Love & Happiness

Today's YOGI Tea Tag:
"People who love are happy."
Step away from any psycho-analytical mumbo jumbo for a minute.
This is just a moment to take a breath.
Have a seat & enjoy your tea.

Love.
What a wonderful word. Don't you think?
Think of all the different ways you can love, be loved, share love, spread love, etc.

You love your pet. How do you feel when you pet her?
You love to garden. How do you feel when your hands are dirty? When you're munching on a cucumber you grew yourself? When you share peppers with a neighbor?
You love to bake. How do you feel when you take cupcakes to your child's class? When you take cookies to a senior who lives alone? When you deliver soup to a sick friend?

Do you see where I'm going with this?
I bet you do.
Happiness.
