Now Thanksgiving is over it's time to bring out all the Christmas decorations. I'm sure your honey moans at the prospect of climbing around on the roof hanging lights or a ladder to hang ornaments.
Take a break from it all before you begin. Go for a walk in the woods or get permission to walk about a tree farm. Collect some fresh greens to take home. If working with fresh greens isn't your thing, stop at the local hardware or craft store from some beautiful artificial greens. Many come with lights.Make some hot cider and do some simple decorating together.
Accent a bright white door with the deep colors of an evergreen wreath and garland. Tie on extra-wide red ribbons to complete the Christmas look and add graphic punch. Twinkling lights add a soft glow at night and allow the door and decor to be seen from the street.
