For his birthday this year, John Quinlan is asking for donations to The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundations. He chose this nonprofit because their mission means a lot to him. The Andrew McDonough Be Positive Foundation was founded in 2007 after Andrew McDonough, a 14 year old athlete and A student, passed away from complications of leukemia. His family started The Be Positive Foundation to provide financial assistance to families of children with cancer, fund critical pediatric cancer research and spread the message to be positive. Today, The Be Positive Foundation is one of the largest grantors of financial assistance to families of kids with cancer in the country.
