Sunday Spa Treatment

Sunday is the perfect day to set aside to pamper yourself or have a "spa day" with your girlfriends. 

An herbal facial steam is something simple that can be done at home. It will not only hydrate your skin but will also soften the surface and aid in healing any lesions.

For a Pore Perfect Steam
           boil 4 cups of distilled water (some recipes call for water & vinegar)
           remove from heat, add dried herbs, (double amount if using fresh herbs) cover
           allow to steep for about 5 minutes
           place the pot in a safe, stable place where you can sit comfortably for about 10 minutes
           use a bath towel to create a tent over your head, shoulders and the pot
           allow 10-12 inches between the steaming herb pot and your face
           close your eyes, breathe deeply and relax

My favorite wrinkle chaser recipe:

      1 Tbsp crushed fennel seeds

      2 drops essential oil of rose or rose geranium

Add the essential oil right before you steam your face

Fun Friday Night with Food

Why go out on Friday night when you can save money and have fun at home. Romance doesn’t need to be frivolous.

Roast marshmallows in the fireplace, drink wine and listen to soft music.

Bake a batch of favorite cookies together. Feed each other warm cookies fresh from the oven.

Have a picnic dinner in the backyard.

Dine by candle light with cloth napkins, tablecloth, fine dinnerware…outdoors.

When hubby is flying around the world, hidden in his suitcase are simple little love notes. These little notes are sometimes sweet sayings to let him know I'm thinking of him. Sometimes, they are dirty notes to give him something to look forward when he comes home.

If you have a special evening planned, set the tone with love notes. A teaser hidden next to his toothbrush will give a kick-start to the day. A sexy text after lunch will add to the excitement.

Don't by a pest, don't send too many notes. Short and simple is key. A note is supposed add a spark to the day without starting an inferno. One small note in the day can lead to an amazing evening.
